Behind them, more participants in maroon sit under white and red tent fabric and hanging ropes. The scene appears to be a padapuja-style ritual with lamps.2012-10-25Photograph of a large seated group of young male devotees in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls, bare-chested, wearing rudraksha malas and white sacred ash on their foreheads. The boy in front left holds a small brass lamp and a bell-shaped vessel near his face, wearing purple-framed glasses and a wristwatch. The boy centre front holds a small oil lamp in his hand, has a rudraksha mala around his neck and red and beaded bracelets, and appears to be speaking or chanting.
