October 08 20122012-10-08A photograph of a devotee receiving a blessing. A man in a bright red polo shirt, with grey hair and a grey moustache, bows his head while a figure in an orange-saffron garment places his right hand on the devotee's head. The blessing giver wears a white horizontal tilak on the forehead, a dark red bindi, multiple tiers of rudraksha malas across the chest, a ceremonial gold necklace and a gold earring, and bare-shouldered orange cloth with beaded bracelets on the upper arms and wrists. He holds a small white card or paper in his left hand. Other people stand softly blurred in the background, including a figure in a yellow-and-white striped shirt on the left and a person in orange at right.2013-02-01April 09 20132013-04-09June 21 20122012-06-21February 25 20132013-02-25September 28 20122012-09-28A seated man with a swept-back dark bun, white vibhuti marks on his forehead, a gold-bead necklace and a saffron-orange shawl bare-chested, places his right palm on the head of a shaved-headed devotee in orange cloth who sits with hands pressed together in prayer. Behind them a red drape hangs, a white-clad attendant stands at left, and a red box with offerings sits at lower right. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment. Probable Swamiji cues: swept-back hair, ceremonial gold beads and saffron shawl, placed in the seated blessing role.2012-09-05A photograph of a devotional blessing in an indoor hall with pale yellow walls. In the foreground, a woman in an orange-red sari with a gold border and white flower garland, wearing a red beaded headband and gold earrings, presses her hand on the head of a man in a turquoise and white striped polo shirt with a rudraksha-style mala and red thread on his wrist. White sandalwood or vibhuti lines mark her upper arm. Beside them, a young man in a light blue shirt watches, and other devotees with folded hands stand in the background.2012-05-19May 20 20122012-05-20July 13 20122012-07-13A photograph of a bare-chested devotee receiving a blessing as a long-haired man in a rust-red saffron wrap places one palm on the devotee's forehead and the other hand on his neck. The blessing man has a gold tilak on his forehead, rudraksha beads, and gold paint markings on his shoulder; the appearance matches the Swamiji (probable) cues of long swept-back hair and saffron-toned clothing, shown as the person giving the blessing. Behind them a man in white clothing with a rudraksha mala and a brass ceremonial pillar glow softly in warm light. Three people are visible in the scene.2016-07-04A photograph of a devotee being blessed in a ritual setting. A woman with hair tied in a bun, gold hoop earrings, a rudraksha-style bead necklace, and an orange shawl places her hand on the crown of a man's head. The man has closed eyes, short dark hair, a moustache, and wears a white kurta with an orange shawl, a gold wristwatch on his hand. Behind them, other people in orange shawls and white clothes stand against a red curtain. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment.2012-07-20
