July 19 20132013-07-19A photograph of a shaved-headed?-no: a man in a saffron-orange and gold-edged dhoti-shawl wrap, wearing a multi-strand rudraksha mala, extends his right arm to place his palm on the forehead of a young curly-haired boy in a white t-shirt with an orange-red shawl and orange lanyard. The boy's hands are raised at his head in receptive posture. Behind them, a woman with a vermilion bindi and beaded mala sits, and several people in white and orange-red robes stand at a red-carpeted ceremonial area with a gold-carved throne-like chair and green plants.2015-07-19July 19 20152015-07-19July 17 20132013-07-17July 14 20132013-07-14December 24 20142014-12-24July 19 20132013-07-19September 27 20152015-09-27A seated long-haired man in a rust-red garment with a shawl and beaded mala sits on an ornate gold throne, his right hand raised in blessing over the head of a young boy. The boy wears a saffron-yellow dhoti-style garment with a gold border, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and bangles, and has sacred markings on his forehead. Behind them a woman in a white blouse and red sash with a mala stands smiling, and tall golden deity murti with heavy garlands and a flowering plant stand in the background. The scene reads as an informal blessing or darshan moment in a temple-like hall.2014-12-26A seated man with long dark hair tied back, wearing a rust-brown shawl, a multi-strand rudraksha mala and gold bangles, raises his right hand to bless the head of a young blonde girl in a cream top and pink skirt. Beside him a man in white dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala and gold border sits and watches. Behind them a woman in orange with a rudraksha mala looks on, and seated devotees in white and orange clothing fill the blurred background. Blessing scene at a satsang gathering.2013-07-17July 14 20132013-07-14A seated man in long dark hair and a rust-orange robe with a brown rudraksha mala raises his right hand to the head of a bare-chested boy in an orange cloth and rudraksha beads, who sits with palms joined in anjali. A gilded ornate throne back stands at left. Behind them, gold necklaces hang on deity murtis draped in garlands, and a seated woman in white with magenta drapery sits in the background. The scene resembles a blessing during darshan with an orange-saffron sannyasi presence, with the seated man showing distinctive long swept-back hair, rust-orange robes, and a rudraksha mala, a person depiction without firm identification.2014-12-28
