Close photo of bare feet in the foreground, the left foot planted on a golden metal tray during a padapuja ritual, with the wearer in an orange-saffron garment whose hem is visible at upper right. Around the feet are silver ritual bowls holding white flowers, shredded white petals, an orange-yellow apple, pink roses and loose white blossoms, with a small gold cup near the roses. A silver spoon and a silver vessel sit on the tray. Behind, a seated person in white clothing with a red thread on the wrist holds an item near the top edge. A bare human hand with gold bangles scatters the offerings over the statue's feet and base. Orange drapery and a gold-trimmed tray frame the scene, with a red wooden stand holding more offerings at left. The figure is a deity murti, not a living person.2011-10-07A seated man in an orange saffron robe and a heavy gold bead necklace performs a ritual at a gold-framed square basin filled with white milk-soaked offerings and chopped nuts. He presses a handful of the mixture into a red cloth bag held over the vessel. He wears white vertical tilak marks on his forehead with a red dot, and white paste is on his arms. Behind him, standing devotees in white dhotis, a woman in red, and brass pots surround the scene. Dark wet hair and a sunny outdoor courtyard setting are visible.2010-07-21October 07 20112011-10-07November 01 20112011-11-01Close photo of a devotee's hand, wearing a gold bangle, placing a yellow flower petal at the base of an orange-robed statue's foot. The statue wears flowing saffron cloth and has gold-toned hands; it stands on a silver-rimmed pedestal set on an ornate gold-coloured altar with floral relief carvings and scattered petals and red flowers. Behind it is a red and gold tiered base. The setting suggests a temple puja or padapuja offering to a murti. No face or full body of a physical person is visible.2011-10-07Close view of a ceremonial moment on an ornate gilded throne with a red velvet seat cushion and a brown cloth draped over it. A seated figure in a rust-coloured dhoti and gold-beaded ornaments has bare feet resting on the throne's base. A young man on the left in a bare chest with a rudraksha mala and white-and-orange dhoti holds up a small white bird or swan figure. Other hands reach in from the right, one wearing gold bangles. A red curtain and a gilded backdrop frame the scene. The seated figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone, so no a person candidate is marked.2016-09-28November 22 20102010-11-22October 09 20102010-10-09 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial scene with a golden ornate throne draped in a red cushion and brown towel.
