A two-panel photo collage of a village road procession. Top panel: a man in a white shirt and white dhoti carries the front of a palanquin or ratha bearing a framed portrait of a woman with a garland, under a decorated canopy with coloured fringe; behind them a long line of people in white and coloured saris and white shirts walks, and a man in a white shirt and grey trousers stands at the roadside. Bottom panel: women in white saris with gold borders and coloured saris carry brass kalasha pots on their heads along the road, with a young child in a yellow outfit walking among them, and a sign with red and white lettering on a building beside the road. In the foreground, a young man in a white dhoti and white shirt carries a large framed portrait of a deity or saint with a garland, over a white cloth-covered platform, while other men in white and a man in a white shirt and dark trousers walk nearby. Behind them a long line of devotees, many in white and saffron or orange garments, follows along the road, and a decorated canopy with red and gold trim stands at the top left.
