A blurred night photograph of a standing figure in a flowing red-orange robe, holding a lit torch or flaming object in front of the torso, flames rising near the face and head. Hands are extended outward; the flame is the brightest point of the image. To the left, a seated person in orange clothing sits beside a small wooden railing with a few lamps; another seated figure in orange sits at the right edge. The setting is dark with a few blurred background figures and a stone or concrete platform underfoot. Whether the standing figure is a particular person cannot be determined from the image.2006-08-22A dark night photograph of a fire ritual. A tall column of bright orange-white flame rises from the upper centre, with smaller flames at the lower edge. In the lower left, a man in a reddish-orange shawl or wrap stands in dim light, partly visible, facing the fire. Vertical copyright text runs along the right edge, and a small blue logo sits at the lower left.2006-08-17Night photograph of a figure in an orange-red saffron wrap swinging a bright fire torch in an arc, with flames and smoke trailing from the flame. The figure has long dark hair falling behind the shoulders, and a lit earring or bright highlight catches the side of the face. Behind them, dark foliage and a tree trunk are faintly visible. At the right edge, two people in white clothing stand in the background, one with hands held together, and a camera is visible near them. The lower left shows other dim figures in the crowd.2005-12-19August 17 20062006-08-17A dimly lit night photograph of a priest in an orange-red garment and rudraksha-style beads performing aarti, holding a flaming lamp or camphor plate up before him while flames rise from a fire pit at the lower right. Behind him, pink and black draped cloth, a white curtain and a hanging garland decorate a stage, with a few seated figures barely visible in the dark background. The priest's face is in profile, lit by the flame.2010-02-12August 17 20062006-08-17August 17 20062006-08-17August 17 20062006-08-17May 26 20062006-05-26August 17 20062006-08-17A night-time photograph of a bare-chested man in a red-orange headcloth and orange-red dhoti lifting a lit aarti lamp with both hands above his head, sparks and flame glowing against a dark background. Behind him, indistinct figures and a dark ornate canopy or umbrella with sparkling decoration are visible in shadow.2017-08-25August 17 20062006-08-17
