December 20 20182018-12-20A devotee in white clothing prostrates on a striped mat with an orange-and-black bag on his back, forehead to the floor before a shrine. A standing priest in saffron-orange robes and a red headcloth holds a brass bowl, wearing rudraksha beads, and a red-carpeted altar holds a large deity murti draped in ornate embroidered cloth with a tall crown. Golden pillars, a silver-trimmed throne, a colourful tasselled garland hanging overhead and a small golden figure frame the scene. A brass lamp stand and other offerings sit nearby.2018-12-20 +1 copiesFebruary 04 20102010-02-04Inside a temple shrine at dawn, a bearded man in a maroon turban with a white jewelled ornament and a long garland of yellow, white, red and purple flowers stands at right, bare-chested with gold armlets and a gold necklace, touching his forehead with his hand. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti and shirt with a dark rudraksha-style mala holds a brass plate of kumkum, while an older man in white watches at left. Behind them, a deity murti and a figure are adorned with garlands and gold ornaments, and brass oil lamps burn on the altar, indicating an abhishekam or puja style ritual.2016-12-12December 12 20182018-12-12August 25 20172017-08-25 +1 copiesFebruary 22 20172017-02-22A shaved-headed man in white ritual clothing with a yellow sash stands at the left with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes lowered, before a gilded temple shrine. Golden lamps with swan-shaped stands flank the carved stone pillars, and a deity murti with a gold crown and ornaments is decorated with red and yellow garlands. An orange cloth drapes the platform, and a red-and-white curtain hangs behind the pillar. Lush green trees appear beyond the railing. The scene suggests temple worship.2010-01-17A photograph inside a stone temple pavilion showing a ganesha deity murti, white with a gold crown and red tilak, draped in thick garlands of marigold and mixed flowers and set in a gold arched niche. Two devotees in saffron-orange robes perform worship: a seated man in orange with a rudraksha mala holds a tray, while a standing woman in orange offers a lit lamp toward the murti. Brass oil lamps, silver kalasha pots, flower offerings and a red curtain surround the shrine.2008-12-23 +1 copiesDecember 05 20182018-12-05 +1 copiesNovember 25 20142014-11-25A golden throne stage at a Ganesh Chaturthi satsang.
