A photograph of men seated on a concrete step eating rice from stainless steel plates, in front of an orange-painted wall with a red metal pillar at right. In the foreground, a young man in a white and magenta striped polo shirt with a green and white checked cloth draped over his shoulders eats with his right hand while looking down. Beside him, an older man with a bald head, grey moustache and a pink collared shirt with a pen in the pocket eats from his plate with his fingers. Other people sit behind them in white clothes, partly visible. The scene resembles an annadan meal service. No one in the image is clearly identifiable as a person.

Photograph of men seated on a bare concrete floor along an orange-painted covered veranda, eating a meal from metal plates. An older man in a white striped shirt at left eats from a steel plate of yellow rice; a man in a khaki shirt and orange dhoti sits beside him. In the centre a man in a checked lungi eats from a plate, and a man in a white shirt and white dhoti eats with his right hand. Several more men sit in the background, and a steel serving counter runs along the right edge. The scene suggests an annadan or communal meal, though no a person candidate is visible.

Three men in plain white shirts and white dhotis stand on a paved courtyard, each holding a metal plate of food. The man on the left, with a moustache and a short red-and-cream string at his neck, holds a plate with a bright bowl of food; the middle man, grey-haired with white tripundra markings on his forehead, serves from a plate with both hands; the man on the right, wearing a gold wristwatch, lifts a plate of rice. Behind them an orange brick building with a green roof, young palm trees, a white car and a few other people in white and saffron-coloured clothing walk through the area.
