In the foreground, a silver tray holds red roses, white jasmine-type flowers, green leaves and gold-coloured fruit or bead-like offerings, beside a lit silver oil lamp with a flame. Two hands in white or cream sleeves hold a small silver vessel and reach toward the tray. Only hands and partial limbs of people are visible. The scene is set on a red cloth with a gold chair in the background.2009-12-08Close-up photograph of a hand holding a small silver lamp with a lit flame, the lamp's petal-shaped bowl raised on a short pedestal. The hand wears a gold bangle on the wrist and a thin band on the fingers. The background is a blurred red cloth. No face is visible, so no one is identified.2012-09-05June 05 20122012-06-05 +1 copiesClose view of a devotee's hand holding a brass aarti lamp with a lit flame, pinched near a dark beaded wristband. The lamp's flame rises from a shallow bowl on a long handle. Behind, colourful flower garlands in purple, yellow, red, white and green hang in vertical strands. The woman's sari shows pink and orange stripes on the left and turquoise blue at the lower left. A dark backdrop with blurred red and white imagery is visible at right. Only a hand and arm of one person are visible.2018-04-23April 10 20132013-04-10 +1 copiesA close photograph of an aarti lamp held aloft by two hands at the lower edge of the frame. A tall flame rises from a brass camphor lamp with a cup-shaped bowl and a handle, set against a dark backdrop. To the left, a blurred gold deity murti or ornament sits beside a garland of red and white flowers. Behind, a blurred red and dark screen with coloured panels. No faces are visible, and the scene suggests an aarti offering during a satsang.2018-04-23November 20 20112011-11-20
