A seated man in a white kurta with a dark rudraksha mala and a small red tilak on his forehead holds a silver oil lamp with a lit flame in both hands during a pada puja. Before him, bare feet rest on a golden stool with a red cushion, and silver plates hold red and orange flowers, fruit and offerings. A woman in a pale cream sari with hands folded stands at upper right, and a lit oil lamp sits at lower left. The setting is a temple-style hall with a formal ceremonial atmosphere.

Devotees sit on a floor in a hall during a ritual. In the foreground, a man in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl and a long rudraksha mala holds a brass bell in his right hand and a brass oil lamp in his left, with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and arms. Behind him, a man in a saffron-orange shawl and rudraksha mala sits with a small brass lamp or incense vessel near his hands. Further left, a woman in orange sits beside him, and other lamp-holding devotees in white and orange appear in the background. A gold and red throne-like chair sits behind them, with warm lamplight on the scene. The ritual appears to be an aarti with oil lamps.

A photograph of a ritual puja in a temple-style room. A shaved-headed man in a white kurta and a white sacred thread-style rudraksha mala holds a small silver oil lamp with a lit flame in his right hand, with a tilak of white ash on his forehead and a red dot at the centre. Behind him a woman in a cream sari with glasses sits with her hands folded near her chin. In the foreground, silver trays hold red flowers, red fruit and small silver dishes, and a blurred person in a beige garment sits at the lower left beside a red cushioned seat. Another flame burns at the lower left edge. The scene reads as a pada puja or aarti offering.

In the foreground a person in an orange-red garment and rudraksha bracelets holds a small brass lamp with a flame. Behind, a figure in white dhoti with yellow border sits beside others in cream and beige cloth. Brass plates hold yellow and orange flowers, rice, bowls and small brass vessels, and a brass kalasha-like vessel stands among them. Several other lamps burn across the table.

A bare-chested man in white dhoti sits cross-legged on a polished floor, arranging brass puja items on a wooden tray: a brass plate with red flowers, a small brass lamp with a lit wick, a conch-shaped vessel, a kumkum dish and a brass bell. Multiple rudraksha malas hang around his neck. Behind him, blurred figures in white and orange sit in a row, and warm oil lamps glow at left. The setting suggests a pada puja offering with padapuja items laid out for ritual use.

A photograph of a seated man in a white kurta with a dark beaded mala around his neck, eyes lowered, holding a small silver cup with a red apple-like fruit topped by a red flower. In front of him is a large ornate gold tray with silver bowls, a silver spouted vessel, orange and yellow flowers, and a red velvet cushion on a gold base at left. A hand reaches in from the left edge. The setting appears to be a puja or ritual offering. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable from appearance, so the person is described only by role.

Close photograph of a padapuja ritual. A man in white ritual clothes and a red tilak on his forehead, wearing rudraksha malas, pours water from a silver vessel over a devotee's bare feet while another hand holds a silver cup.
