Many women in white and pastel kurtas, salwar and sarees fill the rows, several with long dark hair, one with a grey bun in white. Colourful yellow and multicolour banners hang from the ceiling, and a camera on a tripod records the stage. The speaker is small and distant on the platform, too far to describe in detail; no identity is claimed from appearance.2009-08-18August 18 20092009-08-18December 30 20062006-12-30August 18 20092009-08-18A photograph of a discourse hall with an audience seated on the floor and in white plastic chairs, many wearing headphones for translation. On a raised stage at the far end, a figure in a saffron-orange robe sits on a low seat beside a person in white, both facing the crowd. The figure has a shaved head and appearance that is consistent with a person, but this is not established clearly enough to confirm identity. Ceiling fans hang above, and decorative banners with elephant motifs and a gold garland line the ceiling and stage curtain. A tripod-mounted camera stands at the side. Several audience members are in colourful salwar and sarees, others in white shirts.2009-08-18A dimly lit hall with many seated devotees in white clothes facing a small raised platform at the far end. A lone figure in orange and red robes stands at a lectern or microphone on the stage, speaking to the audience. Red curtains hang behind the stage, and a pedestal fan stands at the left edge. The audience sits on a patterned floor covering, with heads and shoulders in the foreground. A figure in orange garments is visible, appearance uncertain, and no clear identification of a specific person is made.2006-12-29December 27 20062006-12-27December 30 20062006-12-30
