A photo of a puja being performed on a striped woven mat in a yellow-walled room. A bare-chested man in white dhoti with a gold border sits cross-legged, wearing glasses, a red-beaded rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, hands folded. Before him are brass plates of bananas, coconut halves, a green apple, betel leaves, red flowers, a brass bowl and a small lamp. A large garland of white and red flowers and a yellow cloth lie on a raised altar table beside a pitcher and a ritual book. A pedestal fan stands behind him.

A home shrine room during a puja, with a shirtless priest in white dhoti seated on a red and striped mat before a tray of fruit, brass bowls, and offerings. A woman in a floral kurta and white trousers sits cross-legged facing him, and a second woman in a green patterned top and purple skirt wearing a face mask sits to the right. Brass oil lamps stand on the mat, and a flat-screen TV on a cabinet shows video participants. On the altar at right, a large framed portrait shows a seated figure in red with a garland and hands raised, flanked by a golden throne-like frame, and a small deity murti in a glass case sits on the left altar with framed pictures and a green-clad image beside it.

A priest seated at lower left performs puja in a gold-panelled temple hall. He is bare-chested with a dark rudraksha mala, orange cloth at the waist, and white and red marks on his forehead and chest, reading from a small paper while holding a ritual item. Behind him a deity murti is seated on a green-and-gold cushion beneath a gilded arch, adorned with white and red garlands and draped in a red and gold cloth. Brass oil lamps stand beside the murti, with a tray of flowers, coconut and offerings in front, and a tablet screen rests at the bottom. A dark green standing statue is on a pedestal at right, and a pink flower heap lies at lower right.

Three men sit cross-legged on red and green mats in a room with yellow walls, performing a puja before a shrine. The man on the left wears a white dhoti, rudraksha malas and glasses, and handles a small lamp on a plate. The centre man wears a teal patterned kurta, a long dark wrapped headcloth, a beaded blue mala and a beard, and sits with a glass of water and a plate of flowers. The man on the right is bare-chested in a white dhoti with an orange border and a sacred thread, holding a small item in his hands. Plates of fruit, pink flowers, a kalasha-style brass vessel and a lit lamp lie on the mats. Behind them stand a deity murti, framed pictures and wooden shrine cabinets with small figures.

A bare-chested man in a white dhoti sits cross-legged on a rug before a flat-screen TV, hands pressed in namaskar. The screen shows a live broadcast of a figure seated on an ornate throne, wearing red and gold garments and a red crown-like headdress, flanked by illustrated deity figures on a blue background. In front of him are brass puja vessels, a lit oil lamp, bowls of red and white flowers, a silk-covered tray with white cloth, and a small brass lamp on a pink cloth. The setting is a home room with wooden flooring, a standing fan and drapes, with a pumpkin-like offering visible at the TV stand.

A small temple room with a home shrine of deity murtis and framed pictures on a draped altar at left. In the centre, a bare-chested man in white dhoti with a red floral garland sits on a striped mat reading from a sheet, with brass lamps, plates of fruit, sweets and flowers before him. A woman in a maroon top and black face mask sits opposite, tending a yellow-draped deity figure. At right, a wall shrine holds a portrait of a seated figure in saffron-red robes and a crown-like turban, and a monitor shows an online session with several small video participants.

A shirtless priest with a rudraksha mala and a yellow-and-white dhoti sits cross-legged before a gold ritual setup, placing red and yellow flower petals onto a large gold kalasha-style vessel. Rows of small gold bowls, bananas, mangoes, oranges and a red-and-yellow flower bouquet are arranged on the floor and table. A wall screen behind shows a live video feed with several women in saris and a man in a green-and-yellow crown and garland, with captions reading 'KAILASA IN HOUSTON' and 'MAHAKAILASA'. The setting appears to be a Pratyaksha Pada Puja offering during a birthday celebration.
