The seated man wears a rust-red robe, a beaded necklace of wooden beads and a brown rudraksha-style mala, and smiles as a woman in a white sari extends her hands to him. Nearby, a man in an orange shirt, a shaved-headed man in saffron and white, and several women in saffron-red and white garments hold out offerings and devotion items. Behind the throne stands a large floral backdrop of yellow, orange and red marigold garlands, with a gold deity murti beside it and a gold carved pillar on the left. Two standing fans and a wall air conditioner are visible.2015-07-31December 26 20152015-12-26A photograph of a ceremonial scene before a large floral backdrop of marigolds and red, pink and green flowers. On the right, a man with short dark hair in a deep orange-red robe sits on a gold-upholstered seat, wearing a pink and white flower garland, a rudraksha mala, a gold chain and a beaded necklace, smiling. To his left, a bespectacled, shaved-headed man in an orange-red garment with a yellow border leans forward and offers a small object. Beside them, a man in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth and a long rudraksha necklace laughs with his mouth open. A microphone stands at center, and an orange cloth lies on the seat. Some lamps and a gold deity figure are visible at the back. The page labels the seated figure as a person, but appearance cues are insufficient to confirm this.2015-07-31Photograph of a padapuja ritual in a room with wood-panelled walls and a patterned curtain. A man in a red-orange dhoti and a red turban sits in a dark wooden chair draped with white and red flower garlands, holding a silver staff. Seated on the floor at his feet, an elderly woman in white sari and a younger woman in white with a gold necklace and a mala wash his feet while flower petals cover the floor. Behind them, a shaved-headed monk in orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands with men in orange and gold dhotis and white shirts, one holding a camera. Appearance-based candidate: Swamiji (probable), seated in the chair with a red turban, red-orange clothing and garlands.2014-07-01A photograph of a seated man in a reddish-maroon dhoti and shawl, wearing a white garland and a rudraksha-style mala, sitting on a golden throne with a golden lion-form armrest and a tiger-striped cloth draped on the seat. Several women kneel before him, one holding his bare foot in both hands while another offers her hands, in a padapuja-style reverence. Behind him are large garlands of yellow and orange marigolds and red flowers. Other figures in white and gold-bordered cloth stand at the left and right edges.2015-07-31
