A photograph of a procession on a dirt road beside rocky outcrops and trees. Devotees in white clothing walk in a line, many wearing orange or saffron shawls and sashes. Several colourful ornate umbrellas with orange, blue and red panels and fringed edges are carried above the group, and several people hold tall decorated staffs and ceremonial poles. Some women wear white saris with orange borders, and a few girls in red and green dresses walk among them. Bunting strung on a line runs across the top of the frame. About twenty people are visible.

Several people hold large ornate parasols with multicoloured panels, fringe and tassels, bearing a white dove emblem and gold lotus motifs. Men and women wear white dhotis and saris with saffron-orange shawls and stoles. A line of white-clad participants walks ahead, and a man in white with an orange shawl stands at the right foreground. Trees and low shrubs line the path and a distant structure is visible. The procession suggests a ratha or deity parade, though no deity is clearly shown.

Strings of yellow and green festoon flags hang between the trees. A gathering of onlookers and devotees fills the background under a clear blue sky.
