January 16 20162016-01-16Outdoor procession on a dirt path under a clear sky, with several colourful ceremonial parasols (red, green, yellow with gold motifs and fringed edges) held aloft on long poles. In the centre, a bearded man in saffron robes and a rudraksha mala walks barefoot, with a younger saffron-clad person beside him wearing a white flower garland and rudraksha beads. Around them are men and women in white and yellow dhotis and saris, and a trident (trishul) carried up front. Trees and a stone wall form the background. The bearded central figure's appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described by role only.2008-12-25January 16 20162016-01-16 +1 copiesA procession on a dirt road at an ashram, led by a large multicoloured ceremonial umbrella with a dome of red, blue, orange and yellow panels bearing white dove emblems and the word "Dhyanapeetam", its fringed edge hung with tassels. In the centre a man in white kurta and white dhoti holds a long ornate staff, with another attendant beside him. Several men in orange robes and rudraksha malas carry staffs and walk in line.
