A street procession in a crowded Indian town, with a man in a saffron-orange garment and long hair, wearing a white jasmine-and-marigold garland and a rudraksha-style mala, walking at the centre of a tight crowd. Most men wear white shirts and dhotis; one man in a yellow shawl and another with a red tilak stand nearby. The street is decorated with marigold garlands, green leaf festoons and pink and yellow ribbons strung across the road. A white car with flowers on its roof sits behind, and a uniformed police officer stands on the right. Shopfronts with Tamil signage line the street, and a man holds a tray of pink petals.

A large street procession moves down a road lined with parked motorcycles, cars and pink-and-white shopfronts, with a thatched hut and palm trees behind. Many men in white dhotis and shirts walk closely together, while bare-chested drummers in orange-and-white cloths beat large drums and carry drum sticks. Two orange and gold banners on poles, one emblazoned with a crest, rise above the crowd. A woman in a green and yellow sari carries a brass pot with flowers near the front. The crowd is dense, with many more people visible in the background and at the sides.

Outdoor street scene in a crowded market lane with marigold garlands strung overhead and a parked white van behind. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe wears long white and red jasmine-and-rose garlands, a rudraksha mala and a red tilak, and is smiling with head bowed as people press around him. Behind him a man in a white shirt and a younger man in white with a yellow shawl stand close, and a woman in a purple shawl and blue top holds flower offerings nearby. Uniformed police are visible in the background. The garlanded figure shows distinctive saffron robe, rudraksha and garland cues, so this is an appearance-based a person candidate being welcomed on the street.
