A street procession moves through a crowded Indian town lane lined with shopfronts and colourful signboards. Devotees in white dhotis and white shirts, many wearing orange or saffron shawls and rudraksha-style neck cords, walk close together. Among them, a man in an orange turban holds his hands together in namaskar. Several men carry tall wooden poles topped with orange and red umbrellas hung with multicoloured tassels, and one holds a red and gold fan-shaped banner. The scene is a temple procession with ritual umbrellas and banners.
