Beside him a bearded man in white dhoti and orange shawl walks barefoot, and an older shaved-headed sannyasi in orange robes walks to the right. Men in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing pink rosette badges, follow. A white kolam floral pattern is drawn on the ground.2006-12-04November 27 20062006-11-27November 27 20062006-11-27November 27 20062006-11-27December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04May 08 20122012-05-08A photograph at a temple entrance with ornately carved wooden doorframes and a painted pillar topped by a green and blue lotus base. A long-haired man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala and a red tilak, stands in front and looks ahead, appearing to be a person. Behind him a bearded man in white with an orange shawl and a beaded mala stands at left. Several barechested men in white dhotis and saffron cloths stand in the doorway and beside the pillar. At right a shirtless man in an orange cloth with a gold chain stands with hands on hips. The scene shows a visit to the shrine with devotees and attendants gathered in the entrance.2006-11-27A photograph inside a temple colonnade with carved pillars, where a crowd moves around. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back hair, a red bindi, and an orange saffron wrap, wearing a heavy gold ceremonial necklace with a small deity pendant, walks with hands clasped in front of him. Behind him a younger man in an orange cloth and gold garland holds flowers. A bearded man wearing glasses, an orange wrap and a gold necklace with a pendant sits in the lower center. A bare-chested man with a black rudraksha mala and white dhoti stands at right. Several devotees in bright saris and orange clothing fill the background. Appearance-based label: a person for the long-haired man in the orange wrap with gold necklace, whose distinctive long hair and ornate gold adornments are visible.2009-01-15A photograph inside a white marble temple hall with pillared colonnades and a polished reflective floor. A group of men walks forward while looking upward toward the ceiling. In the centre, a long-haired man in a plain saffron-orange robe wears a rudraksha mala and gazes up; his appearance with long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads is a probable match for a person, though the image is not conclusive. Beside him, a man in a red-and-cream checked shawl and cream dhoti wears a gold necklace. Other men wear white shirts and dhotis, several with orange shawls draped over one shoulder. Scaffolding is visible along the windows at the back of the hall.2006-11-27
