A photograph of two men in a golden ornate setting. In the foreground, a man seen from behind with hair in a topknot and bare shoulders wears a white and yellow cloth, and he is reaching up to touch the head of the man seated before him. The seated man smiles broadly, wearing a rust-brown robe, a brown rudraksha-style mala across his shoulders, a long garland of pink flowers with green leaves, and a gold necklace. He has a white tilak line on his forehead with a red dot and a long beard. Behind him is a gold-carved throne with an orange cushion, and orange and gold decorations fill the background.2017-03-25March 25 20172017-03-25March 03 20172017-03-03A seated bearded man with long swept-back dark hair, a white tilak band and red bindi on his forehead, wears a rust-brown sleeveless robe, a pink-and-white flower garland, a crystal and rudraksha mala, and a gold necklace. He smiles while a second man in a white shirt with an orange shawl leans in, one hand on the seated man's head. Behind them is an ornate gold-carved throne with a red cushion. The seated man's distinctive long hair, ceremonial gold necklace and rudraksha mala are visible, so he is described as a probable Swamiji, seated in a blessing scene.2017-03-03April 04 20172017-04-04Indoor ceremonial scene in a gilded temple-like hall. A bearded man with long swept-back dark hair and a rust-orange saffron wrap, wearing a gold pendant and a white tilak on his forehead, smiles as he reaches toward a seated shirtless devotee whose head is bowed; the devotee has white ash markings on the shoulders and a white cord over the back. Another man at left holds rudraksha beads and a folded white cloth. Red flower garland hangs overhead, and ornate gold carvings and a silver-toned pillar frame the scene. Appearance-based a person (wearing saffron wrap, long hair, gold pendant, a candidate for presence) performing a ritual blessing on a devotee.2018-05-24A photograph of a seated man with short-cropped hair? No—a bearded man with swept-back dark hair, smiling with eyes closed, wearing a white horizontal forehead mark with a dark red bindi, a gold chain, white and pink flower garland, and a leopard-patterned or brown garment over bare shoulders. Behind him is an ornate gold-and-red throne. An older bare-chested priest with short white hair and a red-and-white rudraksha mala stands at right, placing his hand on the seated man's head while white paste marks streak his arm and back.2018-05-10 +1 copiesFebruary 14 20172017-02-14December 12 20162016-12-12December 12 20162016-12-12A bearded man with long dark hair, wearing a rust-orange cloth and a white flower garland, places his raised right hand on the forehead of a younger person in a black headband and a red-orange rudraksha mala. The younger person has bare shoulders, earrings, and holds their left hand up in a palm-out gesture while smiling. Behind them, people in white dhotis with gold borders and beaded malas stand, and a metal pot and a ceremonial staff are visible. The setting appears to be a ritual or blessing moment, with the man's distinctive long hair, saffron-orange cloth, and ornate garland giving a probable match to the a person description, though the image alone leaves identity uncertain.2016-12-21April 02 20172017-04-02
