He looks to his right with a faint smile. Blurred figures stand behind him, including a person in white and a woman in a brown sari at the right edge, against a warm reddish background with greenery.2011-12-06December 23 20162016-12-23December 18 20162016-12-18December 18 20162016-12-18A photograph of a ritual in progress with several bare-chested men in ochre and white. In the foreground, a man with a white-painted body and a white pattern on his face holds up a hand near the chin of a shaven-headed man in the right foreground who wears a red tilak on his forehead, rudraksha malas and a gold armlet. Behind them, a young man with white tripundra markings on his forehead and a dark rudraksha mala across his bare chest stands watching. Other participants are blurred in the background against a pale wall and wooden doorways.2016-11-11 +1 copiesA photograph of a shaven-headed man in saffron-orange monastic cloth, wearing layered rudraksha mala necklaces and beaded wrist bands, with white sandalwood or vibhuti markings on his forehead and arms and a red bindi between his brows. He looks to the side with his arm extended. Behind him, other shaven-headed devotees in orange robes sit in a hall with red curtains and a white wall. The setting suggests an ashram satsang or ritual gathering. Appearance does not clearly establish whether he is a person, so identity is uncertain.2013-06-19December 19 20162016-12-19A photograph of two shaved-headed young men in white dhoti-style garments with red-and-white borders, standing in a wooden-panelled room with shelves behind them. The man in front has a rudraksha mala around his neck, white sacred ash marks across his forehead and a red-and-yellow tilak at the centre. The man behind, slightly blurred, wears a similar white cloth and a rudraksha mala, with white and red markings on his forehead, and smiles at the camera. Neither wears saffron or ornate a person-style cues, so no candidate is identified.2010-10-16December 17 20162016-12-17December 18 20162016-12-18July 03 20172017-07-03 +1 copies
