A photograph of two shaved-headed young men in white dhoti-style clothing with red-and-white borders, wearing rudraksha malas. The man in the foreground, facing the camera, has white and red forehead markings and a small vertical tilak mark, and holds his shoulders bare under a white cloth. Behind him, a second man with a similar white cloth and mala stands slightly out of focus against wooden cabinetry and shelves.

A shaved-headed man stands bare-chested in the foreground at a gathering, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a saffron-orange sacred cord across his chest, with a vertical tilak on his forehead and a small pendant at his neck. Behind him, several people sit close together, including a younger boy with white and red ash markings and a woman with a red bindi and dark hair. Some attendees wear saffron-orange cloths and rudraksha beads, and a shelf of framed photos is visible in the background. The man shows no clear cues of the a person presentation and is described only by role.

A close portrait photo of a smiling, shaved-headed man in white ritual dhoti and shawl with a red border, wearing a rudraksha mala across his chest and white sacred ash marks with a small orange dot on his forehead. Behind him to the right, a second man in a white dhoti with a red border and a rudraksha mala looks down, slightly out of focus. The setting is an interior with orange and wooden surfaces.

A photograph of two shaved-headed young men in white dhoti-style garments with red-and-white borders, standing in a wooden-panelled room with shelves behind them. The man in front has a rudraksha mala around his neck, white sacred ash marks across his forehead and a red-and-yellow tilak at the centre. The man behind, slightly blurred, wears a similar white cloth and a rudraksha mala, with white and red markings on his forehead, and smiles at the camera. Neither wears saffron or ornate a person-style cues, so no candidate is identified.

Photograph of a smiling shaven-headed man in the foreground, bare-chested with a red-brown shawl draped over one shoulder, wearing multiple rudraksha malas and a dark bead necklace, a pendant on a white cord, and a beaded bracelet on his upper arm. He has white horizontal tilak lines and a red bindi on his forehead. Behind him, several other shaven-headed men with white forehead markings and bare upper bodies stand in a bright indoor hall, and orange-robed figures are blurred in the background. The man's appearance with rudraksha malas, bare chest and shawl is a person candidate, though the image is a close-up of a devotee-like figure in a ritual gathering.

Photo of a young shaven-headed man in white ritual dress with a gold-bordered cream shawl, standing on a red carpet at a Kumbh Mela ceremony context. He wears a rudraksha mala, a pendant necklace and red-and-white forehead markings with a red bindu, and smiles at the camera. Behind him, blurred gold ceremonial items and a seated figure suggest a ritual setting. A second person in white dhoti with gold border stands at left edge.

A shaved-headed young man in plain white ritual clothing sits cross-legged, looking off to the side with a serious expression. A rudraksha mala with brown beads hangs around his neck, and a dark vertical mark is applied to his forehead above white ash lines. An orange-red cloth with printed script rests across his lap. Behind him, blurred people in white and a colourful cloth-covered surface suggest a seated gathering.

A smiling man in the foreground wears a white dhoti-style cloth with gold border, a rudraksha mala around his neck and a red tilak on his forehead, with his head shaved. Behind him, blurred figures sit in a row; one wears white with gold border and another wears orange robes. The background is a dark red curtain and a pale panel.
