Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots at an ashram site. A woman in a white T-shirt, black trousers and an orange lanyard walks barefoot on an orange-and-white patterned runner, carrying a red cloth bundle. Beside her a woman in a cream sari with a red shawl walks along the reddish earth path. Behind them, several people in white and red-shawled ritual clothes follow, including a bald man in white dhoti and shawl. A golden ornate chair with red cushion stands near the tree at right, with an orange and white banner hanging from a branch.

In the foreground a woman in white top and white trousers with a red shawl and lanyard walks barefoot on a patterned orange mat, carrying a blue checked bag. Behind her, another woman in white t-shirt and dark trousers with a lanyard and a brown shoulder bag gestures toward a man in a white dhoti-style garment and white shawl. Several other people in white and red shawls stand and sit on the red-earth ground near a raised platform with red cushions and a golden-brown seat. A shaved-headed sannyasi in orange robes stands at right, seen from behind, holding a microphone while addressing the group. A girl in a white top and a schoolbag, and a small child, stand at left. Dappled green light falls across the scene.

A photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered around a large, ancient banyan tree with sprawling aerial roots and thick low branches. Many people in white clothing stand close together: a woman in a white top and a man in a white shirt on the left, a young man in a red shirt in the centre, a woman in a white kurta with a long braid in the foreground, and a woman in a turquoise salwar with a white shawl on the right. A man in white stands near the top left, and a woman at the far right wears a dark top. A small oil lamp burns at the base of the tree on the right, and a backpack is visible in the lower left. Stone or paved ground surrounds the tree.

A photograph of a group of devotees standing outdoors on reddish-brown earth beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots and spreading branches. Most wear white ritual clothing and flower garlands: men in long white kurtas and white trousers, women in white tunics and white trousers. Several have their hands folded in namaste or stand barefoot in a reverent line. One woman carries a black bag and another a red bag. Light filters through the leaves onto a pale stone platform at the right edge.
