Two large deity murti stand behind a central figure: the left has a red turban and multiple garlands and the right wears a crown and a long gold necklace, both in gold-trimmed clothing. Between them a smaller figure in saffron and white draped cloth sits on a white-draped platform, adorned with garlands of orange and yellow flowers. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides, with brass vessels, a kalasha and offerings in front. No people are visible; the statues are the focus.2010-10-29A photograph of a stone-pillared shrine with a golden arched frame. Two large deity murtis stand in the centre, one with a red and gold crown holding a trident-like staff and wearing gold necklaces, the other with a tall crown and garlands; both are decorated with marigold and purple-white flower garlands. In front, a smaller seated murti wears an orange cloth and a gold crown, with a white cloth draped over the altar platform. Brass oil lamps (deepas) stand on both sides, along with kalasha pots and brass vessels with offerings. A small green-robed figure appears to the right. Statues are not physical people, so the scene contains no visible people.2010-10-29October 10 20102010-10-10 +2 copiesA temple shrine with a pair of seated deity murtis. Dark grey carved stone walls frame the sanctum.2013-06-14A photograph of a temple shrine with a golden arched niche framing a pair of gilded deity murtis seated on a golden throne-like pedestal, one holding a staff and both adorned with ornaments and garlands of yellow, red and orange flowers. Stone pillars carved with reliefs flank the shrine, with brass oil lamps in front and a red and orange draped backdrop. A lone devotee in an orange robe and green shawl sits at the base of the shrine, facing the deities with offerings and brass vessels laid out before them. Oil lamps and plates of offerings sit on the stone floor.2010-09-22A photograph of an ornate temple shrine with a golden arched frame and stone pillars carved with figures. Inside, two gilded deity murtis stand side by side: the figure on the left holds a trident and wears a red and gold crown, the figure on the right wears a gold crown and jewellery. Both are draped in yellow and purple garlands and sit above a golden pedestal. Red and orange curtains hang behind them. In front, a priest in orange robes performs a puja with brass oil lamps and offerings on trays, while more lamps stand along the sides. No living person is seen apart from the priest.2010-09-22
