July 23 20102010-07-23Four men sit cross-legged in meditation on bare ground covered with grey ash, in an outdoor setting with a black stone pillar, white structure and palm trees behind them. The foremost man wears white clothing, a yellow shawl, a red tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha mala. The man beside him in white has a grey beard, folded hands and a red tilak, and two more men in white with yellow shawls sit behind them with eyes closed.2010-07-14July 19 20102010-07-19July 19 20102010-07-19A man in orange saffron robes sits cross-legged in meditation on a wooden seat outdoors, eyes closed, hands resting open on his knees. He wears a long rudraksha mala with dark beads and a red tilak on his forehead, and his long swept-back dark hair falls behind his shoulders. Palm trees and a low wall are behind him. Two other seated figures in white dhotis appear in the background: one on the left in white with an orange shawl, and one on the right in white with a yellow scarf, also meditating. A brass vessel is visible at the lower left edge and a small orange-red shrine structure at the left.2010-09-04A man with short dark hair sits cross-legged on bare ground under a large tree with exposed roots, eyes closed in meditation. He wears a white kurta and white loose trousers with an orange saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and crossed at the chest. A white vertical forehead mark with a red dot is visible. Dry leaves and grass surround him, with more trees and a low fence in the background. This is a plain outdoor meditation scene; no clear a person cues such as a crown, turban, rudraksha malas or ornate gold jewellery are visible, so identity is uncertain.2007-05-04July 19 20102010-07-19A photograph of an outdoor meditation setting with palm trees and frangipani shrubs. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi sits cross-legged with eyes closed and hands resting in his lap, wearing an orange saffron wrap, orange dhoti and a long rudraksha mala. Behind him, a second man in a white dhoti and yellow shawl sits on the ground with eyes closed. Two more men in white are partly visible near an orange-painted structure and metal railing at left. A small brass vessel sits on the ground at lower left, and a few embers or ash lie on the sandy ground.2010-09-13July 23 20102010-07-23A shaved-headed man in white ritual dhoti and shawl with red border sits cross-legged on bare ground in a meditative pose, eyes closed, hands resting in his lap. He wears a long rudraksha mala and a small pendant, with a red-and-white tilak on his forehead. Behind him are stacked firewood logs, bamboo fencing and a grey tarp, with scattered ash on the ground. The man is a priest or devotee in white garments; the image shows no distinctive presentation cues such as long hair, crown or saffron robes, so identity is uncertain.2010-09-22October 18 20102010-10-18 +2 copiesNovember 20 20102010-11-20
