Brass oil lamps and yellow and purple flower garlands frame the altar; a banyan-root backdrop appears behind the frame. No physical people are visible. The figure's right hand is raised in a blessing gesture and the statue is set on a white cloth strewn with marigold petals and flowers. Behind it, a man in a white shirt and grey trousers holds a long black pole, and people in white clothing stand near a table with flower decorations under palm fronds. The figure appears to be a statue or effigy rather than a living person.2007-12-27A white marble statue of a seated figure in orange robes and an orange turban with gold border, wearing a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, with the right hand raised in blessing.
