November 07 20112011-11-07Photograph of a large black Shivling set on a decorated base in the centre of a rectangular water pool at dusk. The lingam is wrapped in striped multicoloured cloth and garlands, and a white metal staircase with railings climbs to its top. Rows of terracotta pots line the pool walls and stepped embankments, and a plain grey stone wall and a tree stand behind. A small figure is visible on the staircase near the top, and two seated people appear at the left edge, but no one is clearly identifiable. The scene is an outdoor ritual setting with a deity murti.2015-01-13June 07 20132013-06-07A large black stone lingam on a dark circular yoni-pitha stands at the centre of a tiered red-brick structure, reflected in still water that fills the foreground. Several small figures in white clothing stand on the left-side steps and walkway near the base, and a few more stand along the upper stair railings. Red-brick terraces with white railings frame the water on both sides, and a concrete wall rises at right under a pale sky. A person with a camera stands at the top right corner. The scene is a temple setting centred on the lingam, consistent with Shiva worship.2013-06-07December 31 20092009-12-31January 04 20102010-01-04 +1 copiesJune 05 20132013-06-05A large black stone Shiva lingam with a yoni-shaped base stands on a square platform in the middle of a still rectangular pool. Strings of orange and yellow marigold garlands drape its upper shaft. Red-tiered stone steps and rows of empty red-backed seats rise behind it, and a single small figure sits near the bottom step. Potted plants with green foliage line the near edge of the pool, and the lingam's reflection shows in the water. Red-roofed buildings and trees appear in the background.2013-06-05November 06 20132013-11-06Outdoor photo of a large black stone Shiva linga set on a square platform in a shallow reflecting pool, with its reflection visible in the water. A garland of colourful flowers wraps the upper linga. Several people in white and orange-saffron clothing stand on the metal stairs and tiered red seating at the left, with a framed portrait on a stand at the far left. Potted plants line the pool's edge in the foreground, and a red multi-storey building stands behind.2013-10-28June 07 20132013-06-07 +1 copiesDecember 31 20092009-12-31
