Water sprays up around the base, forming a faint rainbow. A red and white striped border runs along the back edge of the pool, with dry dirt, scattered stones, and orange-tape boundary lines beyond, and trees and palms under a clear blue sky. No people are visible.2009-01-02November 06 20132013-11-06A large black stone Shiva lingam with a yoni-shaped base stands on a square platform in the middle of a still rectangular pool. Strings of orange and yellow marigold garlands drape its upper shaft. Red-tiered stone steps and rows of empty red-backed seats rise behind it, and a single small figure sits near the bottom step. Potted plants with green foliage line the near edge of the pool, and the lingam's reflection shows in the water. Red-roofed buildings and trees appear in the background.2013-06-05November 04 20132013-11-04A large black stone Shivalinga rises from a square platform in the middle of a water-filled pool, with water flowing from its base spout and a garland of yellow and orange flowers draped around its shaft. Several people in saffron and orange clothing stand on steps at the top of the linga. On the tiered red-brick terrace to the left, a large group of people in white clothes sits in rows, with a framed portrait placed at the front of the seating. Trees and flowering plants frame the foreground and the pool reflects the terrace.2013-11-04January 02 20092009-01-02June 04 20132013-06-04January 02 20092009-01-02A large black stone lingam on a dark circular yoni-pitha stands at the centre of a tiered red-brick structure, reflected in still water that fills the foreground. Several small figures in white clothing stand on the left-side steps and walkway near the base, and a few more stand along the upper stair railings. Red-brick terraces with white railings frame the water on both sides, and a concrete wall rises at right under a pale sky. A person with a camera stands at the top right corner. The scene is a temple setting centred on the lingam, consistent with Shiva worship.2013-06-07
