In the foreground a man in white shirt and dhoti walks beside a man in white with an orange shawl and forehead marks. At right, a figure in orange robes wears a long necklace of yellow beads and a gold pendant, with white forehead marking and long hair swept back, walking beside another man in orange robes. Several white-clad devotees and orange-clad attendants surround them.2008-08-02January 01 20062006-01-01December 30 20092009-12-30December 30 20082008-12-30Night photo of a group walking barefoot along a stone-paved path in front of an old stone temple gateway with a dark doorway. In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron robe with a matching orange turban and a long gold-toned garland walks beside a man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala. Behind and beside them are a man in white dhoti and shawl, a woman in yellow, a child in a checked shirt, and an elderly bald man in white dhoti on the right, touching his forehead. Other people in the group wear white, yellow and green.2011-09-09Night photograph of a procession on a dirt path. At centre, a man with long dark hair and a white tilak on his forehead wears a saffron-orange robe and a heavy necklace of large yellow-gold beads with a gold pendant; he appears to be a person by his long swept-back hair, saffron robe, ornate gold beads and rudraksha-style mala cues. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts, many with orange shawls and rudraksha malas, walk closely; one man in white at right smiles, and a younger man in orange robe with a maroon shoulder cloth walks in front at right. A man in a yellow shawl appears at far right, and further figures recede into the dark background.2008-08-02December 30 20092009-12-30Outdoor photo at dusk on a dirt path beside a whitewashed wall with red stripes and tall palm trees. A group of about twenty men walk together. Most wear saffron or orange robes; a man in a white dhoti and shawl walks near the centre, and several men in white shirts and white dhotis with lanyards stand at the edges. A bare-chested sannyasi in orange cloth stands in the right foreground facing the group, and a bearded man in a rust-brown robe with rudraksha malas walks at right. A long-haired man in orange with a rudraksha mala and a white cloth in hand walks at left. No one can be confidently identified as a person from appearance alone, so the figures are described by role and clothing.2009-12-30July 28 20082008-07-28
