Many people in white and light clothing stand along the steps, and a group wades into the dark water near the bottom, some in white garments. Strings of coloured lights decorate a structure at the right, and a bright floodlight glows above the trees. Bright reflections of lights shimmer on the water. No individual can be clearly identified as a person from appearance in this blurred scene.2009-01-02Night photo of a very large crowd gathered on an open ground at an outdoor evening event, with floodlights on tall stands lighting the scene. Most people wear white traditional clothing, including dhotis and white shirts, with some women in saris of red, orange and green. A metal barrier and rows of plastic chairs separate sections. A tall white banner with a portrait stands at left, and a stage with lights and decorative structures is visible in the distance. Physical people are too numerous and crowded for an exact count.2010-12-29
