Night view of a crowd gathered on red-and-white tiered stone steps beside a temple tank at the Jayanti Brahmotsavam 2009. Many people in white and light clothing stand along the steps, and a group wades into the dark water near the bottom, some in white garments. Strings of coloured lights decorate a structure at the right, and a bright floodlight glows above the trees. Bright reflections of lights shimmer on the water. No individual can be clearly identified as a person from appearance in this blurred scene.
