Close photo of a devotee in a rust-red saffron-toned garment holding a small gold ritual vessel with a long handle over a silver object. Behind, out-of-focus figures in white ritual dhotis and shawls, one bare-chested with a rudraksha-style mala, seated in a ceremony setting. The background is softly blurred.

A man with long matted hair, a red tilak and a beard stands with bare upper body, wearing a saffron-brown shawl and layered rudraksha and gold-bead malas. He raises a brass oil lamp with a flame in one hand, the lamp shaped with a bull-like figure and bell base, while his other arm is raised in the air. The background is dark and out of focus, with no other people visible.

Close photograph of a seated person in a saffron-orange garment holding a gold spoon-like ladle with a long handle, with a red thread bracelet on the wrist. Beside them is a silver ritual vessel. Behind, out of focus, a person in white dhoti with a yellow sash and beaded necklace sits, and on the right a woman in white clothes with a gold necklace has palms pressed together in namaste. The setting suggests a ritual or satsang with offerings.

A man in a white dhoti and shawl stands at night against a black background, holding a silver aarti plate of burning oil lamps with smoke rising to the left. He wears a gold-and-cream turban, a red bindi, a rudraksha mala across his chest and small earrings, and his right hand rests on his chest. Yellow marigolds and green leaves fill the lower right foreground.

A man with a short dark beard, a red and yellow tilak on his forehead and a long braided bun, performs a lamp ritual while seated. He holds a brass oil lamp with a lit flame in both hands and raises it toward the smoke drifting in front of him. He wears a yellow shawl over a white dhoti, a shell-and-bead rudraksha-style mala, a wristwatch and a gold ring. Behind him, several people in white dhotis and white shirts wear gold-colored beaded garlands, and one holds a bell. The scene suggests a puja or aarti setting with smoke and lamp offerings.

A photograph of a young man performing a ritual with a brass oil lamp held in both hands, its flame burning upward with a wisp of smoke. He is bare-chested, wearing a white sacred thread, a rudraksha mala of brown beads, and white ash markings on his forehead and arms. His eyes are closed and he appears absorbed in the act. Behind him, slightly out of focus, a portrait of a smiling man in red and saffron robes with a red turban is displayed, and to the right is an ornate gold deity murti on a decorated altar with red and gold fabrics. The scene is a temple or ashram shrine setting.

A night-time procession photograph showing a man in a white dhoti with maroon-edged borders holding a silver lamp or kalasha-like vessel aloft toward a decorated golden figure. Above them a large ornamental umbrella with a gold canopy, colourful fringed tassels and peacock feather decorations is held over the scene. Tall ceremonial flagstaffs with small pennants stand on either side against a black background. Only one physical person is visible.

A photograph of a seated man in orange-brown robes with bare shoulders, wearing a thick gold ceremonial necklace of beads and a gold hoop earring. He has white and red tilaka markings on his forehead and holds a silver ceremonial handle topped by a brass bell. Behind him stands an elaborate gold repoussé backdrop with a deity relief, against a dark background. Appearance-based cues include long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron-orange clothing, so the person is a probable Swamiji (probable) performing a bell-ringing ritual.
