A bare-chested man with long dark hair, a beard, a shawl over his shoulder, a brown dhoti and a flower garland stands at left holding a lit oil lamp aarti toward a richly decorated deity murti. The deity sits on a gold-draped throne covered in yellow, orange, white and red marigold and jasmine garlands, with a silver-rimmed backdrop and tall silver lamps. Flower petals are scattered on the red carpet. A second decorated figure stands to the left with a black stone statue beside it. The man is a priest performing aarti, with cues only partly distinctive, so the a person value is unsure.2016-12-19A night puja at a temple shrine. A shirtless priest in white dhoti with a green and gold waist cloth and a headband holds a lit camphor flame on a lamp toward a deity murti decorated with red, yellow and white flower garlands and a pink cloth. Smoke rises in the air. Brass oil lamps, fruits and flower offerings sit on the floor and altar. One other attendant in white stands behind him. This is an aarti and abhishekam-style offering scene.
