A long, plainly finished hall with a metal roof and bare grey walls hosts a communal meal. Rows of people sit cross-legged on a pale wooden floor, many in white shirts and dhotis, others in colourful saris and salwar, holding metal plates and cups. Yellow and orange hanging decorations with striped borders line the ceiling. At the far end, a large framed painting shows a bearded man with long hair and a saffron robe, a depiction of a revered teacher, and a few standing attendants move about near a serving counter. A standing man in white dhoti in the foreground watches over the seated diners.

A long, plain hall with pale tiled floor and grey walls strung with orange and yellow paper lanterns, where people sit in two rows on the floor eating from metal plates. A woman in a blue sari with a pink blouse stands at left holding a plate and carrying food. Men in white shirts and white dhotis or orange-and-white cloth walk down the centre aisle serving food, and a man in an orange lungi sits in the foreground eating. Many more seated diners line the far right. Cardboard boxes and a black speaker sit at the left edge. This appears to be a communal meal, annadan style, rather than a ritual event.

A long hall with a blue-trussed metal roof and ceiling fans hosts a communal meal. Many people sit on the floor eating from metal plates, while others sit at folding tables with blue chairs. Orange-robed sadhus and white-clad devotees are among those serving and eating. A standing man in an orange robe and red dhoti carries a plate. Tall decorative cloth banners with bird and floral patterns hang along the walls, and a wall clock is visible. The scene shows annadan, a free meal service for devotees and the needy.

Several men in saffron and orange robes move among the diners carrying food and serving, and a man in white kurta stands at the left edge. A standing man in white with a red-and-white shawl and a gold chain watches the gathering at right. A screen and sound speakers hang near the back wall, and red curtained windows line the upper walls.

A covered open-sided hall with corrugated metal walls and red-orange roof beams, where many men in white shirts and white dhotis sit cross-legged on a concrete floor eating from metal plates. Several standing attendants in white shirts and dhotis move among them, one holding a white cloth. Large plastic water jugs and steel containers sit on a table at left, and a child stands near the entrance by bougainvillea. This appears to be a communal meal serving line, with no identifiable figure presented as a person.

A long white-walled hall with ceiling fans and tube lights holds rows of seated devotees eating an annadan meal from green banana leaves set on the floor, with steel tumblers beside each leaf. Many seated people wear white clothing with garlands; a woman in a red-bordered sari and a woman in a yellow sari sit in the foreground, and a blonde woman in white with a garland sits near the left. Standing servers in white and cream move along the aisle, and a man in a saffron robe walks along the right side of the room toward the front. The photo is taken from the rear of the hall.
