December 16 20122012-12-16Indoor photograph of a ceremony in a hall. A seated central figure with long dark hair wears a tiger-striped gold-and-black garment, gold armband, bangles and a beaded garland of red, white and green flowers, smiling. A man in white and orange kneels at right with palms pressed together, wearing an orange shawl. Behind them a woman in white sits beside a golden ornate object, and a standing woman in peach-coloured robes with a rudraksha mala stands near a speaker and screen. Several other attendees in orange and red shawls stand in the background. Floral plants and red draped fabric frame the scene.2012-12-16December 24 20122012-12-24April 04 20182018-04-04May 07 20142014-05-07A seated figure with a swept-back dark hairstyle, bare-chested under a maroon-brown cloth, wears a red and white garland with rudraksha beads and a white tilak on the forehead, placing a hand on the head of a kneeling devotee. The devotee wears a white kurta and an orange shawl and presses palms together. Behind them are red velvet drapes, a floral garland of red and yellow flowers, and a gold kalasha-like vessel. A seated figure with long swept-back hair and rudraksha malas with a crown-like adornment gives blessing, consistent with a padapuja-style darshan. Swamiji (probable) is in the seated figure, who has long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and a garland, and the devotee is kneeling in front of the throne.2014-09-28A photograph of a seated man on a red velvet throne with a gold-carved armrest, wearing a tiger-striped garment, a thick gold-and-gold-beaded waist belt, a ceremonial necklace and a multi-coloured garland of white, pink, red and green flowers, with a white tilak on his forehead. He reaches out and holds a small tray of offerings toward a young boy in a white outfit who stands at right, bending forward to accept it. Behind them a woman in an orange-red shawl and a white sari-style garment watches, and a woman in a white dress and another in an orange top stand nearby with a crowd in orange robes in the background. A yellow fluffy mat lies on the floor. The seated man is a person, depicted as the person being honoured; the appearance cues are the garland, the tiger-striped clothing and the ornate throne, and the role is a seated figure giving blessings to a child.2012-12-16January 18 20092009-01-18December 26 20122012-12-26December 16 20122012-12-16April 19 20182018-04-19June 23 20132013-06-23 +1 copies
