The devotee wears a white kurta and an orange shawl and presses palms together. Behind them are red velvet drapes, a floral garland of red and yellow flowers, and a gold kalasha-like vessel. A seated figure with long swept-back hair and rudraksha malas with a crown-like adornment gives blessing, consistent with a padapuja-style darshan. A man in a rust-orange turban, orange-gold garments and layered bead necklaces stands at left, placing his hand on the head of a kneeling devotee in a white garment with a red sash. Behind them is an ornate golden shrine with a deity murti dressed in gold ornaments, garlands and colourful silk cloth. A gold rod stands in the foreground. Two women watch from the right, one in a dark top and one in white. The man's appearance with a turban, saffron-orange clothing and layered beads is consistent with a person performing a blessing at the shrine.2015-10-24
