A group of young male devotees in saffron-orange sleeveless tunics and loose orange trousers walks through dry grass on a dirt path, many with faces smeared in green, pink and purple powder. Several wear wooden rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. The foreground boy in front holds a small pastel-coloured clay Ganesha idol in both hands, another holds a pastel Ganesha figure on a wooden plate, and a taller boy at left carries a small clay figure on a tray. At right a young drummer plays a dhol drum slung over his shoulder. The scene suggests a Ganesha immersion procession in the outdoors with colourful powder on the participants.

A group of young boys sit cross-legged on a paved courtyard floor, all with shaved heads and white vertical marks on their foreheads. They wear saffron-orange robes edged with pink borders; one boy in the back wears a rudraksha mala. Some sit with hands clasped or resting on their knees, and one boy at right holds a small object while looking down. Behind them, figures in maroon and gold-bordered robes sit or stand, and a tripod and a yellow cloth are visible at the edges.

Two young boys in saffron-orange sannyasi robes sit cross-legged on a floor during a puja. The boy on the left, with a shaved head and white tripundra on his forehead, rests his hands together in prayer. The boy on the right wears glasses, a long rudraksha mala, and holds a small offering near brass ritual items. Brass cups, a bell, a plate with red flowers and sweets, and a conch-shaped vessel sit on a tray in front. Behind them, many other orange-robed participants sit in rows behind a chain barrier.

Three young boys with shaved heads sit cross-legged on a floor mat during a ritual, dressed in saffron-orange cloth with rudraksha mala necklaces. The boy on the left wears a red kumkum dot on his forehead, the middle boy has white and orange tilak marks, and the boy on the right has a red dot and tilak. Brass puja items sit on a tray in front: a small oil lamp, a bell, a cup, a pink-and-white flower arrangement, and a small figure. Behind them, adults in white and red clothing sit on mats in a room with red curtains and framed religious pictures on the wall. Ritual items are arranged in front of the children.

A photograph of seven young boys seated together on a concrete step in front of an orange-painted wall and a wire mesh fence with greenery behind. All wear shaved heads, saffron-orange cloth wraps with maroon borders, and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces; several have white vertical tilaka marks and one has a red bindi. They smile and sit close, some with hands clasped. Other people in orange are faintly visible in the background.

A group of young shaven-headed boys sit side by side on a concrete ledge under a covered walkway, dressed alike in saffron-orange dhoti-style cloth with maroon borders and bare chests. Several wear rudraksha malas, and most have white vibhuti or tilaka with red kumkum on their foreheads. One boy in the front left holds his hands together while others rest their hands in their laps. Behind them, a chain-link fence, an orange wall, a black speaker and a few adults in white and orange stand in the background.

Two young boys in orange robes sit cross-legged on mats in a hall, in front of a seated audience. Both wear white tilak marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks; the boy on the right holds his hands in his lap and wears a red bindi. Behind them, rows of children in maroon and orange robes sit on the floor, and adults in white shirts and dark clothing sit in the back. Red curtains hang along the wall, and brass oil lamps and small offering items sit on a low table in front of the boys.

Two men stand either side of a painted clay Ganesha murti on a wooden board at the edge of a lake. The man on the left, bald with pink and magenta colour smeared on his scalp and face, wears an orange saffron robe with red stripes and a rudraksha mala, smiling at the camera. The man on the right wears a dark striped shirt, also smeared with coloured powder, and holds the board. The Ganesha murti is multicoloured, with an orange and red headdress, a blue and purple cloth, a raised trunk and hands holding an axe and a sweet. Rocky hillside and muddy water are behind them.

A ritual scene during a puja with several young boys in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas. In the foreground a boy with short hair and a wrapped orange cloth sits at a brass-and-flower ritual setup, a small oil lamp burning nearby. Beside him a smiling young boy with a shaved head, white-and-red forehead markings and earrings holds his hands near the offerings. On the right a boy in glasses and orange robes holds a small offering. Behind them an adult man with a shaved head, tripundra markings and rudraksha beads sits in the background, with rows of red chairs and seated audience members beyond. Marigold flowers and brass vessels lie on the cloth.
