Night street scene in a town lane lit by a bright overhead street lamp, with shopfronts and a tiled-roof house behind. A smiling figure in a deep red-maroon wrap and a matching red turban, with rudraksha malas across the chest and bare shoulders, waves toward the crowd beside a dark SUV. Clothing and beads suggest a Swamiji (probable) candidate in the centre, with the figure's visible cues being the red turban, layered malas and ceremonial dress. Around him, saffron-clad male devotees in orange and red cloths, some bare-chested, stand close together, and a crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis presses toward the vehicle as a darshan gathering.2014-07-01May 20 20122012-05-20 +1 copiesNight-time photograph of a crowd greeting a man in saffron-orange robes with a matching orange-red turban, a long brown-orange shawl and a beaded rudraksha-style mala, smiling and raising one hand in a wave. Around him, sannyasis in orange and maroon robes wear beaded malas, a bald man in orange with a mala stands at right, and devotees and onlookers lean in, some holding up phones. A large trident-shaped silver ornament rises above the crowd. Behind them are arched pillars painted yellow, red and white under lights, with a vehicle partly visible at left. Swamiji (probable): the saffron-clad man in the orange turban, with long-presentation cues of orange turban and shawl, is greeted by the crowd, appearing to be a visiting dignitary or host.2016-05-06June 23 20132013-06-23Night photograph of a dense crowd at an open-air event beside a white and yellow striped tent with hanging lights. In the foreground a man in a maroon turban and maroon robe with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace walks smiling past a dark car with headlights on. Behind him a figure in orange robes with a long grey beard carries a staff. Wooden poles and a tent frame stand on the right, and a stage with colourful backdrop is visible in the distance.2016-05-10A crowd gathers around a black SUV on a street in front of a yellow building. A central man with long dark hair wears a dark red-maroon garment and a thick red and white flower garland with green-and-gold accents, smiling as he steps out with hands extended toward devotees. Around him, several shaven-headed young men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas reach out to touch him. A man in white dhoti and white shirt with an orange shawl stands at right, and a woman with a white flower in her hair and a white forehead band stands at lower left. Palm trees and houses are visible behind.2014-06-24June 26 20142014-06-26May 06 20162016-05-06May 11 20162016-05-11June 27 20142014-06-27June 22 20142014-06-22 +1 copiesNight-time photograph of a procession on a decorated street lined with string lights and orange flags.
