The cymbal player is bare-chested with long dark hair, white ash markings on his forehead and arms, a red bindi, and layered beaded necklaces with gold-toned ornaments. Beside him a second young man wears an orange saffron cloth and a rudraksha mala, with a red tilak and white ash lines on his forehead. Behind them more devotees in orange and a large drum are partly visible, and a pink cloth covers the floor.2016-10-30Outdoor street procession with drummers in orange dhotis and gold-bordered cloths. In the foreground a young bare-chested drummer with long dreadlocked hair, a white cord across his chest, plays a large white-faced drum held at his side with a stick. Behind him other drummers in orange garments play similar drums, and a crowd and a bystander stand along the roadside under trees. The scene reads as a temple or devotional procession with drumming.2016-12-23September 26 20162016-09-26October 11 20162016-10-11December 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copiesOutdoor festival scene on a dirt path beside a chain-link fence and green foliage. To the right, a line of drummers in saffron-orange clothing and orange head cloths play hand drums; a young boy in orange with beaded malas plays in front. Several women in orange and a man with red-orange shawl and malas stand along the line. Behind them, people in white and orange gather near a red-carpeted stage area under a yellow decorated canopy. A small handheld fan is visible above the drummers.2017-12-16December 06 20162016-12-06December 23 20162016-12-23Outdoor ritual scene on red-brick steps beside white railings. In the foreground, a boy with bare torso and white body markings sits playing a drum, next to a girl in an orange skirt and bare torso who also plays a large white drum with sticks. Behind them, several people in white dhotis and white garments sit in a row holding pink-tipped sticks and bronze pots, while dark stone shivalingams stand on pedestals along the steps. Orange-clad figures are visible at the upper right. Visible people are numerous, so the count range is 21-100 range of people; the exact count is uncertain.2016-12-09A group of bare-chested young men in white dhotis sit on red earth playing traditional metal hand cymbals and drums during a drum ensemble. Several wear blue or purple shawls over their shoulders, rudraksha or beaded necklaces and red wrist threads. One player in the centre grins while striking a pair of brass cymbals. Drums with rope tuning lie at the right edge, and a few other participants stand behind them in the background, some in orange or green cloth. The setting appears to be an outdoor festival or procession ensemble.2008-07-28
