March 26th 20142014-03-26Outdoors at dusk, a man in a saffron-orange wrap and orange turban stands beside a fire pit, holding a lit lamp or flame over a draped table. The table, covered in a gold and teal brocade cloth, displays green-leaved pots, coconuts and brass vessels, with a silver lamp stand on the ground. He wears a long rudraksha mala and a gold necklace with bare shoulders. Behind him, a few seated devotees in light clothing sit near white tables and tree trunks on a lit lawn, one with hands folded in prayer. The scene suggests a homa or puja ritual.2013-12-20December 20 20132013-12-20December 09 20132013-12-09Night outdoor ritual on a lawn beside a blue-draped table holding potted plants and a gold-bordered cloth. A brick-lined fire pit burns in the foreground, with metal vessels, a small brass pot and an open book at its edge. A man in a red-orange tunic, dhoti and red-and-gold turban holds a lit oil lamp and a bell-like object near the fire. A gilded throne with a tiered golden canopy stands to the right, and several seated devotees in orange robes sit in the background under bright floodlights. The man is an appearance-based probable Swamiji, identified here by his red-orange ceremonial dress and turban; he performs the fire ritual as the officiant.
