July 11 20132013-07-11Close-up photograph of a bare foot resting on a gold-rimmed ornate plate filled with pink, red and yellow rose petals and a white frangipani flower. The foot is adorned with a garland of pink roses, white flowers and gold beads wrapped around the ankle. A small gold vessel sits among the petals, and a golden surface with a silver tray is visible in the blurred background. This appears to be a padapuja, the ritual washing and honouring of a person's feet with flowers. Only a foot and ankle are visible, so the person cannot be counted or identified.2017-07-26Close-up photo of bare feet standing on a golden tray during a padapuja ritual, surrounded by red, pink, orange and yellow roses and yellow marigold petals arranged in a ring. Silver and brass bowls with flowers, a silver spoon and a small golden kalasha-style vessel sit around the tray. The feet belong to a person whose face is not visible, and no other people are shown.2013-10-04October 03 20142014-10-03Close overhead photo of a padapuja: a pair of bare feet rests on a large brass tray filled with red, pink, yellow and white flower petals, with two ornate brass knobs with red stones at the centre. A silver vessel with flowers sits at the right edge and a small silver bowl at top left. The feet are the focus; the rest of the frame is flower petals and metalwork. No face is visible.2013-06-24Close-up of a pair of bare feet resting on a gold-embossed tray filled with fresh flowers, including red roses, pink carnations and yellow marigolds. The person wears an orange-saffron cloth at the top left edge. Silver ritual vessels and a silver puja implement sit in the lower foreground. The scene appears to be a padapuja, where the feet are ceremonially honoured with flowers. No face is visible and no identity can be established from the feet. A faint logo is in the top left corner.2013-01-13July 12 20172017-07-12 +1 copiesJuly 05 20172017-07-05 +3 copiesClose-up photograph of a bare foot resting in a shallow gold ritual tray filled with flower petals, including white plumeria, red roses, yellow and pink blooms, and green leaves. Two small ornate gold vessels with red stones stand beside the foot. The foot appears to be undergoing padapuja, a foot-worship ritual, with the tray catching petals and the offering. The background shows gold and orange surfaces. No face is visible.2017-07-28 +1 copiesJuly 05 20172017-07-05 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a bare foot resting in a shallow brass plate filled with pink, red, orange and yellow flower petals. A small bright yellow dot of turmeric or kumkum sits on the top of the foot, and a small gold-coloured oil or water vessel rests among the petals on the right. The golden background suggests a ceremonial pada puja offering of flower petals to the feet.2016-12-22September 15 20132013-09-15
