A photograph of a homa fire burning inside a square fire pit built from stacked yellow turmeric-coloured bricks, with a red kumkum mark on the brick corners. Flames rise from the centre. Behind it, a person in an orange dhoti with a maroon border sits cross-legged, with hands visible near the fire and a small spoon or ladle in one hand. To the right stand a silver kalasha-style vessel and a metal dish of yellow liquid on the left. The setting suggests a ritual fire ceremony. No face is visible, so no identity is asserted.

A photograph of a homa fire pit built from stacked bricks coated in yellow turmeric paste and outlined with red kumkum and white markings. A bright flame rises from the pit. Beside it, a copper bowl holds liquid, and a metal vessel sits at the left edge. Behind the pit, a seated figure in a rust-red robe wears a white beaded necklace and holds a small object near the flames, with dried bundles on a tray in the background. No readable name is visible apart from the photo credit line.

A brick fire pit, a homa or yagna fire, burns at the centre of the frame. Flames rise from wood among a white cloth bundle placed on the bricks, with a copper vessel of liquid and a bowl of yellow flowers beside it. A standing figure in a saffron-orange garment is partly visible at the top, holding a long metal implement. Mango-yellow marigolds, banana bunches, orange fruit, rolled sticks and striped cloths decorate the surrounding ritual setup on a purple-and-pink cloth. No people are fully visible beyond the orange-clad figure, who is partly cropped.
