Outdoor ritual on a red-carpeted ground. A woman with long dark hair in orange robes sits on a raised seat with her bare feet extended, while a grey-haired man in white kneels before her, offering a hand and a plate of fruit and blessings. Behind them, a row of seated devotees in white, orange and yellow saris and shirts watch, with a seated orange-robed attendant holding a gold-topped staff at left. Bananas sit on a brass tray in the foreground, and a striped cloth lies across the seat. A canopy with pink and teal tassels is visible at top left.2008-12-24December 24 20082008-12-24December 24 20082008-12-24A seated figure in orange robes with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala sits on a white-draped throne, extending a hand toward a kneeling devotee. The seated figure has long swept-back dark hair and wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe, smiling and resting one hand on a white pedestal. The pedestal holds a brass tray of fruit and flowers. Before him a smiling man in a white shirt kneels with folded hands and holds a rolled paper scroll. Behind them, standing men in white shirts, orange dhotis and orange scarves look on, and one seated man wears an orange shawl. The seated figure is an appearance-based probable Swamiji: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a gold-trimmed throne. Four or more people are visible.2010-09-05
