A procession under a large pink-and-white canopy on a red carpet. Drummers in saffron-orange dhotis and rudraksha malas beat small hand drums, while a man in white dhoti with a bare upper body and red-and-white markings carries a drum. Several robed participants in orange and saffron walk with a long brass horn and a trident-like staff stands at the left. Priests and attendants in white and orange follow, with a yellow and red draped backdrop and bunting at right. Strong sunlight streams through the tent edges. The photo is credited to Nithyanandapedia as a KAILASA event image.2015-01-12A large white tented hall with a red carpet runner down the centre, where a crowd of devotees gathers in a procession. A tall yellow ceremonial umbrella hangs above the walkway near the back. Devotees line both sides: women in saris and salwar with orange and red garments, and men in white kurtas and dhotis with orange shawls. Several drummers in red and green clothing play a large drum near the middle of the aisle, with a figure in a yellow outfit beside them. Orange and red paper lanterns hang from the top of the tent, and a purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner.2016-05-01April 19 20162016-04-19April 24 20162016-04-24Indoor hall with cream walls, ceiling lights and framed posters of a saffron-clad figure with long hair on the walls. In the foreground a line of young men and boys in orange-saffron robes and orange turbans play frame drums, several with bare chests and rudraksha malas; one boy in front holds a drum with a stick. Other people in white dhotis stand with hands folded at right, and a woman in orange robes stands at left beside a row of gold stanchions with orange carpets. The scene looks like a drum procession or ritual musical welcome in an ashram-style hall.2017-11-17
