A figure in a bright orange-red turban and sleeveless saffron top, wearing a thick yellow-and-pink marigold garland and pink flowers in the hair, stands smiling with palms pressed together in greeting. Facing them, a priest with bare upper body marked with white sacred ash stripes holds a silver tray of sliced fruit and white jasmine garlands on a green leaf. Beside him a man in white dhoti and shawl holds a decorated cone-shaped offering with flowers and a yellow fringe. Onlookers in white shirts and saffron cloth crowd behind, with palm trees and signboards in the background.2009-01-12Indoor scene in a plain whitewashed temple room. A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a red border garlands a woman in a long orange sari with a red and white flower garland, offering the garland to her. A man in a white shirt stands behind them, and a younger man on the right in a yellow and green shawl and white dhoti, with white forehead marks, watches. Two bare-chested devotees stand at the lower edges. The woman in orange does not clearly match a person candidate; no ornate saffron robe, long swept hair or rudraksha cues are shown, so no in-person a person is identified.2008-07-29November 25 20092009-11-25Outdoor photo at a roadside event with banners behind. A bare-chested priest in red dhoti with white ash on forehead and arms, wearing beaded rudraksha-style malas, drapes a fresh garland of white flowers and green leaves over a man in orange robes and wire-rimmed glasses with a grey beard. A bald man in white dhoti on the left presses palms together in greeting, and a man in orange cloth stands behind with hands folded. Several onlookers, including a woman in a red sari, stand in the background. Large banners show a smiling man in orange and white text, and a green roofed building appears behind.2011-12-08June 04 20122012-06-04 +1 copiesOutdoor temple-precinct photograph of a man in a saffron-orange robe with a large multicolour flower garland of yellow, red, purple and white blooms and gold ornaments, hands pressed together in namaste and head slightly bowed; white horizontal forehead marking.
