A dense crowd of devotees fills a large indoor hall, most dressed in white or cream saris and dhotis with rudraksha malas around their necks. Many are seated on the floor in rows, while others stand or move between them; several hold small white packets or papers. In the lower left, a woman in a white blouse and white sari with a gold-trimmed border is handing something to a woman in a patterned cream sari. Shelves line the background wall and white walls and fluorescent light give the room a bright, hazy look. No individual can be clearly singled out as a person from appearance alone, so the candidate in the scene is unconfirmed.January 30 20162016-01-30A large indoor hall filled with seated devotees, mostly women, dressed in white, cream and saffron saris and salwar with bright accents of yellow, teal, pink and blue.
