Low-angle outdoor photo of a tall copper-clad ceremonial flagstaff with carved wooden or metal decorative bands and an orange rope wound around it, set against a pale blue sky with scattered clouds and a palm frond at right. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti-style wrap and sleeveless top wears a long necklace of large beads and a small red tilak on his forehead, one hand gripping the orange rope on the pole. A second person in orange-red cloth stands at the right edge, partly cropped. The pole and rope suggest a dwajarohanam, the flag-hoisting rite, though no flag is visible.2010-10-18October 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesOutdoors under a bright sky with scattered clouds and tall palm trees behind.
