A seated man in orange robes with long swept-back dark hair and a red and pink flower garland sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, smiling as he places his right hand on the forehead of a standing young man in a white kurta with a dark bead mala. The seated figure wears a rudraksha-style necklace of pale beads, and the standing man, with palms partly raised, appears to be receiving blessing. Behind them hang green and pink drapes and a red-curtained wall with a gold carved decorative frame.2010-01-02January 02 20102010-01-02A seated man in an orange-saffron garment with a white jasmine garland and a red-and-white flower garland places his right hand on the crown of a shorter man's head while his left hand rests on the chest of a man in a white kurta. The garland-wearer has long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and gold ornaments, and sits before a red-cushioned gold throne-like seat decorated with flowers. The man in white, with short dark hair, bows forward receiving the blessing. A partly visible person in white stands at the right edge, and a yellow curtain forms the backdrop. Swamiji (probable) is present in appearance, given his long hair, saffron clothing, ornate gold necklace and throne, and the page identifies Swamiji at this event. The scene shows a blessing or pada pooja-style ritual on a dais.2010-02-07February 07 20102010-02-07A photograph of a man in a white shirt with long hair tied back in a ponytail, hands pressed together in namaste, receiving a blessing. A smiling man in an orange saffron robe and a long gold bead necklace, with a white sacred mark on his forehead, reaches out and touches the devotee's forehead, holding a small white paper or cloth in his other hand. Behind them is an ornate gold throne with cushions and a large floral garland of yellow, orange and red flowers. A golden figure is partly visible in the background. Two people are visible in the scene. The orange-robed figure is shown in an appearance-based role of the honoured teacher, a person candidate based on the saffron robe, gold beaded mala and ceremonial throne setting.2010-11-12November 12 20102010-11-12August 11 20092009-08-11November 26 20112011-11-26A photograph of a seated man in a white kurta with an orange shawl, bald-headed, smiling as another man places his right hand on his forehead in a blessing gesture. The second man wears an orange wrap, a long multi-strand necklace of gold beads, and has long swept-back dark hair with a red tilak on his forehead. Behind them is an ornate gold and yellow altar with yellow and red flower garlands and a green foliage arrangement. The scene is a blessing at an outdoor-style satsang stage with a microphone stand visible at right.2010-10-17A photograph of a smiling man in an orange saffron dhoti-style wrap with a thick gold ceremonial necklace of bead-like pendants, his hair swept back into a bun and a red bindi on his forehead, placing both palms on the forehead of a shorter man in a white t-shirt. The recipient has his eyes closed and hands raised toward the blessing figure. Behind them are golden deity statues decorated with marigold garlands in orange and yellow, and a red cushion on the right. The orange-clad figure's appearance and attire are consistent with the described cues, but the page does not state he is present, so identity is uncertain; he is described by role as a blessing giver.2011-12-17A photograph of a man with long dark swept-back hair and a red bindi, wearing an orange-saffron shawl and a heavy gold bead necklace, smiling broadly while placing his right hand on the head of a shaven-headed young man in a white dhoti with maroon borders and a matching gold bead necklace. The young man bows his head forward. Behind them stands a large gilded deity murti or ornate golden backdrop, with yellow marigold garlands and red and white flowers at the right edge. A small decorative stand and an orange background complete the scene.2010-10-17December 01 20092009-12-01
