November 18 20092009-11-18November 20 20092009-11-20A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate golden throne with a tall, intricately carved gilded backrest topped by a crown-like finial. His hands are pressed together in anjali mudra, eyes closed in prayer. Flanking the throne are gilded lion-head armrests with cushioned orange-trimmed seats. Behind the throne, a large photographic backdrop shows a banyan tree with dense aerial roots. Small fruit offerings sit on side tables at the edges of the frame. The man has long swept-back hair and wears a plain saffron shawl over his body, with no visible rudraksha or gold necklace, so the identity is uncertain. Lighting is warm on the gold throne.2009-11-20November 18 20092009-11-18December 19 20112011-12-19January 08 20122012-01-08December 16 20092009-12-16A photograph of a single person seated in meditation on an ornate gold throne with red-and-black striped cushions and a gold footstool. He wears a flowing orange-saffron robe and sleeveless orange garment, with long dark hair swept back, hands folded together in front of his body and eyes lowered. Behind him a large painted backdrop shows a banyan tree with hanging aerial roots and a waterfall. Small trays holding oranges and fruit sit on white pedestals on either side of the throne, and a red patterned carpet covers the floor. Visible cues including the long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate throne match the page's a person reference, so this is an appearance-based probable identification.2009-12-18A seated figure in an orange-saffron robe sits on an ornate gold throne carved with lion arms and a crowned, scrolled backrest, hands pressed together in namaste at the centre of a stage. Behind the throne is a large backdrop photograph of a sprawling banyan tree with hanging aerial roots, and white side pedestals with white cloth draping stand on either side.2009-11-18A seated figure in an orange saffron robe sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, palms pressed together in a namaste greeting and eyes closed. A small red bindi marks the forehead, and long dark hair falls to the shoulders. The throne stands on a red and gold cushioned dais before a large painted backdrop of a banyan tree with aerial roots. A small water bottle and fruit sit on a wooden side table, and white pedestals flank the throne on a colourful woven rug.2009-12-16A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gilded golden throne on a stage. The figure wears an orange-saffron robe draped over the body and a rudraksha mala with dark beads around the neck, long dark hair swept back, and bare feet resting on a red cushioned footstool. A microphone stands in front of the throne. Fruit and flower arrangements sit on the throne's side tables, potted green plants with white flowers flank it, and a pink and magenta backdrop with garland-hung curtains fills the background. Swamiji (probable) appears in the centre as the seated figure, distinguished by long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a rudraksha mala.2009-12-20May 31 20152015-05-31
