He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala and a gold-coloured neck ornament, and sits barefoot on a white-draped platform. Behind him is a large painted backdrop of a stone temple gateway among green trees, with a small figure in orange robes and floral garlands at the left. Brass oil lamps stand on either side and a plate of fruit rests on a white pedestal at the right. The appearance-based label is probable Swamiji, based on his long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and ornate throne setting.2012-01-08A photograph of a single person seated on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet back and cushion, on a gold footstool over a red patterned rug. The seated person wears a saffron-orange turban, saffron-orange robes, and a long rudraksha mala, with hands folded in the lap. Behind the throne is a painted backdrop of a temple gateway among large banyan-like trees. Flanking the throne are brass oil lamps with rooster-topped finials, and a garlanded deity murti stands at the left with orange and multicoloured flower garlands. Appearance-based cues are a saffron turban, robes and a rudraksha mala, but the page does not state that a person is present, so the identity is uncertain.2011-10-10A seated figure in orange saffron robes sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, garlanded with yellow and red flowers and green leaves. Hands rest in meditation mudra, eyes closed, forehead marked with a white tilak. The red and gold carpet covers the stage floor.2009-12-18A photograph of a single person seated in meditation on an ornate gold throne with red-and-black striped cushions and a gold footstool. He wears a flowing orange-saffron robe and sleeveless orange garment, with long dark hair swept back, hands folded together in front of his body and eyes lowered. Behind him a large painted backdrop shows a banyan tree with hanging aerial roots and a waterfall. Small trays holding oranges and fruit sit on white pedestals on either side of the throne, and a red patterned carpet covers the floor. Visible cues including the long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate throne match the page's a person reference, so this is an appearance-based probable identification.2009-12-18A figure in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned seat, palms pressed together in anjali mudra with eyes closed. A gilded umbrella canopy and a garland of yellow, red and purple flowers frame the throne, with white lilies in a pot to the left and purple and pink flowers to the right. The backdrop is a painted green bamboo and water scene. Long dark hair falls past the shoulders and a red tilak marks the forehead. The appearance cues are long hair, saffron robe and a golden throne, but the image gives no reliable basis for naming the seated figure, so the identity is left unsure.2008-10-18 +1 copies
