January 12 20072007-01-12A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits before a decorated throne-like chair draped with white jasmine garlands and red flowers. The seated person has long dark hair, a red tilak on the forehead, and a red-and-white garland across the chest. A man in a white shirt with a gold bracelet bends forward and writes or signs in a small book held open on the seated person's knee, while an older woman in white with glasses leans in from the right beside a vase of orange roses. Ornate dark wooden chair carving and beige curtains form the background.2010-01-10July 29 20062006-07-29A photograph taken at night of a man in an orange saffron robe seated at a white-draped table, writing with a blue pen in an open bound guest book. He wears a long ceremonial gold bead necklace, a red tilak dot and white forehead markings, and his hair is swept back. Behind him a shirtless man in white dhoti with rudraksha mala stands beside a red-and-white cloth, and several men in white shirts and dhotis stand nearby. A brass kalasha-like vessel and yellow cloth sit at the left edge of the table.2009-01-14November 29 20092009-11-29January 17 20092009-01-17 +1 copiesJanuary 12 20072007-01-12July 27 20082008-07-27January 01 20092009-01-01A photograph at a temple darshan on a red-cushioned seat beside a gilded throne. A long-haired man in an orange-brown wrap, wearing a purple orchid garland and a white forehead mark, leans forward to bless or hand something to a seated devotee in a cream shirt and orange shawl. Around them, a crowd of women in red, maroon and saffron saris and men in white dhotis with gold borders watch closely. Green leaves and a stack of printed booklets lie on the red cloth in the foreground. The man's clothing and long hair are visible cues, but the person's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so he is described by role only.2016-05-03February 25 20072007-02-25January 14 20092009-01-14
